At Rita and Phill, we’re a small team of women working to change the clothes shopping experience.
We believe that every woman should have a closet full of clothes that not only fit your every curve, but also have the quality of designer brands at the price of regular stores.
Most importantly, you should love the way your clothes make you feel. We want you to stand a bit taller and speak a bit louder because you know you look your best when you wear our skirts.

What do you do for fun? I love spending time with my family and friends and most of all, my boyfriend. I also like discovering new places and traveling.
What excites you / What gets you out of bed in the morning?
I'm excited to learn from a good book. Whether that’s reading a fictional epic love story or factual information about an exotic place I would love to visit one day.
What item can you not leave home without?
I am very punctual when it comes to time so I am very attached to my watch. Besides being very fashionable and cute, it makes me feel secure that I am in control of my time.

Fashion allows me to express my personality without having to say anything.

What do you do for fun? Is eating an activity? I love trying new types of foods ranging from high end restaurants to fair vendors to street stalls. I also enjoy cooking for friends and family.
What excites you / What gets you out of bed in the morning?
I am excited to be witnessing technology advance faster than it has ever before. As a marketer, it encourages me to think deeper and work faster because the possibility of my messages having a global reach is possible.
What item can you not leave home without?
I absolutely need my Chapstick at all times! I even carry a spare.

I am a fairly casual gal. But I love getting dolled up. I love how fashion enables us to be anyone we want to be.

What do you do for fun? Long brunches and dinners with friends. For some “me” time, my guilty pleasure is reality TV with a Hershey bar and sour cream and onion chips.
What excites you / What gets you out of bed in the morning?
I love days when I learn something new, whether it’s at work or something personal about myself. I wake up excited to start the day because each day holds the promise of a unique experience.
What item can you not leave home without?
Chapstick. I’m so addicted that I put one in my husband’s bag, in case I forget mine.

I’m not one for trends, I usually look for classic pieces that are versatile and will last for years.

What do you do for fun? I like spending my time with friends and family. On the weekends, my favorite pastime is spending my afternoons at a café chatting away with good friends.

I always make sure I have my sunscreen, lipstick, and cell phone before I leave the house.

I love that fashion can promote confidence and self-esteem. I love being able to express my personality through my clothes.

What do you do for fun? I like talking long walks and going to the gym. My favorite activity is playing with my granddaughter and seeing her laugh.

I am excited to see my granddaughter grow to be a strong and confident woman. I hope to instill in her the same morals and confidence that my daughters proudly carry.

I always leave the house with an extra sweater.

I like how fashion is for everyone. I like how clothing can change a person personality in a positively way. My fashion style is comfortable and simple.

What do you do for fun? I love spending time with my little family. I have two energetic daughters and a loving husband. We spend our time together enjoying the outdoors on long walks and hanging out at parks.
What excites you / What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Traveling and discovering new places excite me because it helps me gain more perspective. I want to instill in my daughters the same sense of wonder and bravery to take chances.

I can’t leave the house without my wallet and sun glasses.

Fashion allows you to feel confident in any situation. When I am comfortable and happy in what I’m wearing, I feel like I can take on any obstacle.

Money and my watch. It just doesn't feel right when I leave home without any cash. For my watch, I like to always be in control of my time. And at the same time, its a fun fashion item!

Fashion is a way of expressing who you are and your personality - all without saying a single word. It makes my life more interesting and gives me that extra spring in my step.

What do you do for fun? I enjoy doing yoga, reading, listening to music, and shopping. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and catching up on the weekends over a cup of coffee.

Beauty excites me.
What item can you not leave home without?
I cannot leave the house without my lipstick and wallet. I always make sure I also have my notebook and pencil with me so I can sketch down things that inspire me while I’m out.
Your thoughts on fashion and the role it plays in your life.
I believe fashion is a tool that can help boost self-esteem by making people feel confident in whatever style they love. As a designer I actively try to help people discover what makes them feel beautiful.
WHO ARE RITA AND PHILL?
The name Rita and Phill is inspired by the main characters in “Groundhog Day”. In the movie, Phil is stuck in a loop that repeats the same day over and over. The only way he could get out of this time trap and win Rita's heart, was to improve himself and to help those around him.
That's how we view the state of women’s fashion. Every day, women around the world open their closets and look at the same clothes, over and over. And we generally always feel like we have nothing to wear!

At Rita and Phill, we've found a way to break that cycle by improving on the fit of your clothes, giving you items that you actually want to wear because it makes you look your best.
