At Rita and Phill, we’re a small team of women working to change the clothes shopping experience. We believe that every woman should have a closet full of clothes that not only fit your every curve, but also have the quality of designer brands at the price of regular stores. Most importantly, you should love the way your clothes make you feel. We want you to stand a bit taller and speak a bit louder because you know you look your best when you wear our skirts.
The inspiration behind Rita and Phill

What really inspires me about Rita and Phill is that I get to bring a highly analytical approach to fashion. How can we enhance, shape, lift and hide all the areas that women are secretly wishing were enhanced, shaped, lifted and hidden?
During my time working on the business side, I’ve spent my fair share of time at conferences and networking events. I can’t count the number of times I’ve wished my skirt had a pocket, or my dress could stylishly take me from day to evening. With Rita and Phill, the goal is create pieces that look great, and are functional enough for today’s busy woman.
Each piece we create is the result of hours of discussion on not only the aesthetics, but also how we would change the proportions for each body type. And if we think a certain style would work better for certain shapes than others, we will tell you (check the Description for each product).

Who are Rita and Phill?
The name Rita and Phill is inspired by the main characters in “Groundhog Day”. In the movie, Phil is stuck in a loop that repeats the same day over and over. The only way he could get out of this time trap and win Rita's heart, was to improve himself and to help those around him.
That's how we view the state of women’s fashion. Every day, women around the world open their closets and look at the same clothes, over and over. And we generally always feel like we have nothing to wear!
A closet full of clothes and we have nothing to wear. Why is that? It's usually because what we mean is: "I have nothing that I'm excited to wear." Maybe the clothes don't fit as well as they used to, or maybe they never fit to begin with and we bought them in the hopes that we would fit them one day.
Why do we accept this endless loop of wearing clothes that don’t really fit us? Because all the stores sell clothes that are made for "average" sizes. Who are these "average" sizes anyway? At Rita and Phill, we've found a way to break that cycle by improving on the fit of your clothes, giving you items that you actually want to wear because it makes you look your best.
